Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the facilities at KGB GYM, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services.

2. Membership

2.1 Membership Types

We offer various membership options including monthly direct debit, monthly cash payment, and pay-as-you-go single sessions. All memberships are handled directly by our Head Coach.

2.2 Free Trial

Your first class is always free with no commitment required. This allows you to experience our facilities and training before making a membership decision.

2.3 Payment Terms

  • Monthly Direct Debit: £50 per month, billed automatically
  • Monthly Cash: £60 per month, payable in advance
  • Adult Single Session: £10 per class
  • Junior Single Session: £5 per class

3. Gym Rules and Conduct

3.1 Health and Safety

  • Members must be in good health to participate in training activities
  • Members train at their own risk and must inform instructors of any injuries or medical conditions
  • Appropriate training attire and equipment must be worn at all times
  • Members must follow all safety instructions given by coaches

3.2 Behaviour and Respect

  • Respectful behaviour towards coaches, staff, and other members is mandatory
  • Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of membership
  • Equipment must be treated with care and returned to proper storage after use
  • The gym must be kept clean and tidy at all times

3.3 Training Guidelines

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first class to complete registration
  • Sparring is only permitted under coach supervision
  • Members must warm up properly before training
  • Mobile phones should be on silent during classes

4. Age Requirements

  • Mini Fighters: Ages 4-6
  • Juniors: Ages 6-14 (varies by class)
  • Adults: Ages 16+ (18+ for full MMA)

Parental consent is required for all members under 18 years of age.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Monthly Memberships

Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time with notice to the Head Coach. Direct debit cancellations require one month's notice.

5.2 Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at the discretion of management.

6. Liability and Insurance

KGB GYM carries public liability insurance. However, members participate in training at their own risk. We strongly recommend members have their own personal accident insurance. The gym is not liable for:

  • Personal injury sustained during training (unless caused by negligence)
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Damage to personal equipment

7. Facility Use

7.1 Operating Hours

The gym operates according to the published class schedule. Facility access is only available during scheduled class times unless otherwise arranged.

7.2 Equipment Use

All equipment must be used correctly and safely. Members who damage equipment through misuse may be charged for repairs or replacement.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with GDPR and UK data protection laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Photography and Media

From time to time, we may take photographs or videos of training sessions for promotional purposes. By joining the gym, you consent to such media being used on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the Head Coach.

10. Suspension and Termination

KGB GYM reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund in cases of:

  • Violation of gym rules
  • Disrespectful or aggressive behaviour
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Any action that compromises the safety or wellbeing of members or staff

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the facility after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
